Screenwriting: Page Numbering A Screenplay

There are alone a few elementary rules to recall when numbering a screenplay page:

Rule #1: The Title page has no page number.

Rule #2: The commencement page of your screenplay has no page number. This is the "FADE IN:" page that begins the commencement scene.

Rule #3: The minute page as well as every page thereafter has a page number. Since you lot induce numbering on the minute page, you lot start amongst the numeral "2."

Rule #4: The page publish ever goes inwards the upper right margin inwards the exceed margin (i.e., the exceed header section). You should vertically align the publish inwards the header. Since the exceed margin is 1 inch, vertically align the page publish at 0.5".

Rule #5: Include a "period" or "dot" later the number. EX: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Bottom: 1 inch
