Rule #1: The Title page has no page number.

Rule #2: The outset page of your screenplay has no page number. This is the "FADE IN:" page that begins the outset scene.

Rule #3: The minute page together with every page thereafter has a page number. Since you lot start numbering on the minute page, you lot start amongst the numeral "2."


Rule #4: The page publish ever goes inwards the upper right margin inwards the piece of occupation past times margin (i.e., the piece of occupation past times header section). You should vertically align the publish inwards the header. Since the piece of occupation past times margin is i inch, vertically align the page publish at 0.5".

Standard screenplay format is:

Font: 12-pt. Courier.

Page Margins:
Left: 1.5 inches
Right: 1 inch
Top: 1 inch
Bottom: 1 inch
